Segment 1 Driving Instruction August 1-16 10-12pm

Segment 1 will consist of 24 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours of behind-the-wheel (BTW) instruction, and 4 hours of observation time. Speed Limit Driving School, LLC will conduct the BTW instruction in a dual-controlled automobile that is fully insured to cover each student enrolled in the program. Classroom instruction must be a minimum of 3 weeks in length. BTW instruction shall not begin until the student has received a minimum of 4 hours of classroom instruction. BTW instruction must be completed no later than 3 weeks after the classroom instruction has been completed.

Contractual Terms

1. The student must be at least 14-years and 8-months old by the first day of Segment 1. Verification by birth certificate required.
2. The parent or guardian agrees to pay the amount of $395, which needs to be paid in full upon signing contract. There will be a $30 fee for a check returned for non-sufficient funds. Certificate of completion will not be issued until full payment is received. Cash or check accepted for payment. If paying by check make payable to Speed Limit Driving School, LLC.
3. The student must attend 24 hours of classroom instruction, six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction, four hours of observation time, and score at least a 70% on the final exam to receive a certificate of completion. If a passing score is not achieved, a student will be given up to one additional attempt to pass the test.
4. Student Code of Conduct – “I agree to conduct myself properly while in the classroom and driver education vehicle and understand that any disrespect towards the instructor or other students will be grounds for my dismissal from the course, and that no refund will be issued.”
5. There is a $20 fee for lost or damaged textbooks.
6. In the event of a driving appointment cancellation without 24 hours prior notice, or a student fails to show up for a driving lesson, a cancellation fee of $25 will be charged.
7. There will be a $50.00 charge per day when you miss a class. This includes what would constitute 'sick days' that would need to be made up as part completing the required training time. Students with long term illnesses may choose to work out
7b. COVID. If a student is diagnosed with Covid it is required that the student isolate for the required period of time and provide a PCR Covid test from a medical facility or pharmacy.
Being that students are in close proximity in a shared car as part of their training the health and safety of all students as well as instructors is paramount.
8. If you show up 15 or more minutes late, without informing the instructor, you will not be able to attend class and will have to pay $50 to make up class.

REFUND POLICY
If for any reason you need to cancel it must be 2 weeks prior to 1st day of class, therefore you would get full credit for the next available opening. Otherwise, NO REFUND
